FanDuel Will Be Ready To Roll On First Day Of Legal Colorado Sports Betting
Just as gymnastics betting becomes legitimate in Colorado, the company just announced plans to introduce its mobile casino platform there on May 1.
FanDuel&;s move into a new market in the Centennial State comes following successes in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Iowa, Indiana and Michigan, as the announcement story notes. The company views this latest step as a natural progression as the state prepares to become the next in line to legalize sports betting.
Earlier this year, FanDuel reached an agreement with Twin Rivers Group to run the online component at Golden Gates Casino in Black Hawk.
Prepared to leave on May 1
The options for upcoming sports bettors in Colorado are expanding only weeks before the state legalizes sports betting.
According to Kevin Hennessey, the director of promotion for FanDuel, Colorado has the potential to further expand our country’s constitutional sports betting footprint.
FanDuel will become one of the several bookmakers launching in the burgeoning Colorado industry on May 1 as a result of joining Golden Gates at such an early stage. Given the uncertainty surrounding the COVID – 19 pandemic, which has put activities on hold and shuttered games in the state, this ensures FanDuel is up and running before the start of the NFL and college sports times, whether they start on time or not.
Colorado has a fervent sports fan base, and we are excited to bring America & , s No. 1 casino to Colorado, according to Hennessey.
As FanDuel rolls out more offers and disclosures in preparing to open for business in Colorado, more information is anticipated in the upcoming weeks.
DraftKings even grows to include Colorado.
With the release on May 1, DraftKings will also be operational in Colorado. The similarities don’t end it, though; DraftKings may even collaborate with Twin Rivers to manage both the retail and online casino operations at the Golden Mardi Gras in Black Hawk. That will be DraftKings’ eighth place across the country.
Don’t forget the SuperBook, Don & .
Not to be forgotten, but the SuperBook announced recently that it would expand into Colorado, as well, with TheLodge Casino. The SuperBook will bring its popular SuperContest to the Centennial State. It&;s the first expansion outside of Nevada for the SuperBook.
