DraftKings Continues Colorado Ascension, Strikes Sports Betting Deal With Rockies

It was only a matter of time for the Colorado Rockies because the other major professional sports franchises had activities gambling agreements.

Thursday is that day.

DraftKingshas made a deal with the Rockies to take over as both the franchise & , the first official sports betting operator, and the daily fantasy operator.

Included in the announcement of the deal with the MLB franchise, DraftKings announced the grand opening of its retail sportsbook at the Mardi Gras Casino in Black Hawk. That is scheduled for Friday.

DraftKings may receive in-field branding right and a license to use the Rockies marks and symbols as part of the agreement.
